SUMMARY:
Something in the flat has started to smell badly. The husband and wife search for the source of the smell, concealing from each other their disgust and horror. They live a stereotyped life - lunch, bed, TV. They feed on TV soaps. The smell becomes unbearable and, because of it, the wife starts constantly to nag her husband and he finally revolts - and their roles are exchanged. He forces his wife to degrade  herself by "playing" the characters in the TV soaps, and at the very end uncovers the source of the stench ... It is already too late when the police are called.
